Sinularia Dura Large Cabbage Coral is inspired by a type of coral found at the ocean floor that has been affected by bleaching due to rising ocean temperatures. This sculptural piece, crafted from naturally bleached beeswax, features softly curved, petal-like shapes arranged in a harmonious circle, their pale, creamy surfaces inviting close observation. The smooth textures contrast with the textured birch base beneath, creating a tactile dialogue between surface and structure. The gentle undulations convey subtle movement, capturing the delicate beauty and resilience of coral while acknowledging the environmental challenges it faces.
