Inspired by a type of cabbage coral Sinularia Dura represents a stress process called “bleaching” that is affecting the world’s coral reefs and threatening underwater habitats. Seen here with white beeswax representing “bleached” leaves, it serves as a visual warning for the degradation happening at the bottom of the world’s oceans through ocean acidification.
